כשמדברים על בינה מלאכותית, אנו חושבים על חידושים טכנולוגיים, מודלים חכמים ועתיד משוכלל. אבל מאחורי כל אלגוריתם עומדת סוגייה פשוטה אך קריטית – מאיפה מגיעה האנרגיה שמפעילה אותו? אימון והפעלה של מערכות AI דורשים כמויות עצומות של חשמל.
הסדנה תיבחן את הקשרים ההדדיים בין טכנולוגיה לאנרגיה, מנקודת מבט טכנולוגית, משפטית ואתית, ונדון באפשרויות ליצירת עתיד בר-קיימא טכנולוגית ואנרגטית במדינת ישראל.
הכנס ייערך ביום חמישי, 20 במרץ 2025, בשעה 16:30, בחדר 307 ע"ש סוניה ואדוארד קוסוי, הפקולטה למשפטים, אוניברסיטת תל אביב.

When we talk about artificial intelligence, we tend to think of technological innovations, smart models, and an advanced future. But behind every algorithm lies a simple yet critical question: where does the energy that powers it come from? Training and operating AI systems require enormous amounts of electricity.
The workshop will examine the interconnections between technology and energy from technological, legal, and ethical perspectives, and will explore possibilities for creating a technologically and energetically sustainable future in the State of Israel.
