In the upcoming MESSAGEix Community Meeting, IIASA wants to enable participation from anyone. If you have something to share with the community, IIASA wants to hear from you! This could be a particular piece of software that you would like to showcase, some plans for a project that you would like to pursue, results you want to share, or anything else!

IIASA broadly envision to have three different kinds of presentations: for presentations sharing results of completed projects, the aim is for 20 minutes of presentation plus 10 minutes of questions. Short overviews can be done in five minutes with five minutes of questions, while practical hands-on sessions can also take an hour. These are not set in stone, though, so if you need something different for your presentation idea, please reach out to IIASA.

This year, IIASA is especially looking forward to presentations on the hydrogen economy, national applications of MESSAGEix all around the globe, and a tool to visualize your MESSAGEix reference energy system as well as its commodity flows!

All presenters are asked to send in (a draft version of) their presentation materials beforehand. This allows you to focus on the content of the presentation and revisit helpful material later on.
