פרופ' אפרת בלומנפלד-ליברטל
אפרת בלומנפלד ליברטל היא חברת סגל בבית הספר לאדריכלות ע"ש עזריאלי באוניברסיטת תל אביב. היא עשתה את התואר הראשון, השני והשלישי שלה בפקולטה לארכיטקטורה ובינוי ערים בטכניון. היא השלימה פוסט דוק אחד במרכז לניתוח מרחבי מתקדם באוניברסיטה קולג' לונדון (UCL) ופוסט דוק שני כעמיתת פורטר במעבדה לסימוציות מרחביות בחוג לגאוגרפיה וסביבת האדם באוניברסיטת תל אביב. אפרת כיהנה כראש בית הספר לאדריכלות באוניברסיטת תל אביב והיא מצוות ההקמה של "מרכז העיר" -מרכז מחקר בינתחומי לחלק ערים ועירוניות באוניברסיטת תל אביב. כיום אפרת חברה בוועדת ההיגוי של מרכז העיר ושל מיזם האקלים PlaNetZero באוניברסיטה. תחומי המחקר של אפרת הם מורכבות עירונית וערים חכמות. עבודתה משלבת תיאוריות של מורכבות עירונית ומחקר עירוני בתחומים שונים (מורפולוגיה, רשתות מורכבות, ערים חכמות, תחבורה חכמה וחינוך מבוסס מקום). עבודותיה התפרסמו בכתבי עת מדעיים מובילים בתחומים מגוונים - תכנון עירוני, פיסיקה, קוגניציה וחינוך.
Prof. Arch. Efrat Blumenfeld-Lieberthal
Efrat Blumenfeld-Lieberthal is a Senior Lecturer at the David Azrieli School of Architecture at the Tel Aviv University. She received her B.Arch, MA and PhD at the Faculty of Architecture and Town Planning, at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. She worked as a post-doctorate researcher at the Center for Advanced Spatial Analysis (CASA), University College London and as a Porter Fellow at the Environmental Simulation Laboratory (ESLab), Tel Aviv University. Her research interests are applying theories of complexity to urban environments; urban morphology; size distribution of entities in complex systems; and complex networks in urban systems. Her work was published in leading professional journals in the fields of urban studies and physics.
